Heading to San Francisco this weekend on a buying and sourcing trip for one of my companies, Joue Design. For most of the day, I'll be walking lots in comfortable sweaters, leather leggings and Converse. But we do have a nicer dinner planned... think I'll be wearing one of my favourite Vancouver designers, Obakki. They make some of the most comfortable dresses and the fit is fab. Not to mention easy to fold and pack in the suitcase with no wrinkles - bonus! This one's got perfect cap sleeves in a charcoal wool that will keep me nice and cozy in the cooler San Fran climate. I'm also dying to wear my blush suede BCBG heels - the colour helps accentuate the legs, making them nice and lean and long! Top it off with my Oliver and Piper necklace to give the dress a slight pop of colour, my wrap bracelet from Fine Finds, go-everywhere Hermes Birkin and Michael Kors watch, I'm totally ready!

I've only linked to Vancouver-based designers since not everyone will have heard of them and it's important to shout local design loud and proud!
